California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Disclosure

This California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosure (“CCPA Disclosure”) addresses how Granite Escrow & Settlement Services collects, uses, and shares “Personal Information” as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

INFORMATION COVERED UNDER THE CCPA

As used in this CCPA Disclosure, Personal Information means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. Personal Information does not include: (i) publicly available information from government records; (ii) de-identified or aggregated consumer information; or (iii) personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).

DOES GRANITE COLLECT OR SELL ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

  1. The Granite Escrow website. www.Graniteescrow.com: Granite does not collect any consumer personal information via our website.
  2. The Escrow process: Any personal or financial information provided to Granite Escrow & Settlement Services during the escrow process will not under any circumstance be rented or sold.  Use of or disclosure of your personal information to another party may occur under limited circumstances, such as where (1) it is necessary for us to provide the service(s) you have specifically requested of us in conjunction with a nonaffiliated company, (2) we have sought your advance consent, or (3) disclosure is required by legal process or the law.
